I went on an unexpected road trip that involved a relaxing drive on the 401.
While eating lunch today I saw an ad for fitted husky floor mats on Kijiji. The asking price was $100. I made an offer of $75, they countered with $90. Then I came back with $85. The seller agreed. So off to Whitby I drove around 5:40pm . Checked them out, they fitted. Was 3.5hrs & 300kms worth $85 for fitted floor mats? I think so.
Welcome to the 401, also good luck & screw your sanity.

How much money did you spend on gas and tolls to drive 300km?

No tolls, but gas alone was around $25.

I guess that even at 110 it’s a NP.
Whenever my grandfather gets a new car, he goes to Home Depot and buys a few square meters of industrial rubber flooring. When he comes home he takes out his car’s mats and puts them on-top the rubber then cuts the rubber into the shame of the mat. Voila, a new mat emerges!

My dad does the same thing!
